Just got into the 2nd season. 1st season was alright but I didn't expect it to be so..........weird. What do you all think of the show? I don't mind spoilers.

I have stated numerous times I think that Lost is a complete waste of time.

Whose sole existence is built upon lots of characters doing lots of stupid things. It ruined what COULD have been a good character. He's a mechanism for the plot and nothing more.
Locke and Desmond are far better characters, mostly because Locke as more "autonomy" in the narrative than Linus and Desmond's character is MEANT to be a mechanism, so it works. Linus is a giant plot contrivance in most instances.
To the OP, the show is good. Not great. I would continue, but watch out for Season 2-3 where it gets pretty bad. It picks back up and has a great Season 5-6. The end is ok, really, you have to get there before you determine whether or not it's worth the time. I don't think it's worth it for some people, and I'm a mystery junkie, so it was fun but ultimately unfulfilling. And it isn't really cohesive, or as great as it should have been.
I'll keep it this simple: If you REALLY like the characters, it will probably be a fun experience and worth the ride. If you're in it for the science fiction and mystery, I might steer clear if it hasn't grabbed you yet. It's a big time sink.

First season was really good. Second was solid. Third fell off of a cliff and the rest of the series followed.

Great episodes. Some of my favorite episodes of television ever aired.

beautiful story with deeply flawed storytelling. was hurt a lot by cast members getting themselves in legal trouble, writers' strike and opening up storylines they couldn't close.
it's a top 10 for me based on pure effort, but there's a lot of holes.
spot on. i loved the ending because of character development. my wife hated it because of unanswered questions.

It has a few of the best episodes in all of television. Those alone are worth the journey. There are some missteps along the way but it is worth it. Personally I thought the ending was perfect.
