Yes - my 5 year old loves it - even the older kids will sit and watch it with her, if I’m busy

Is season 2 on Disney+ yet?

My son loves it and it’s better than most everything else he watches. The episode where neighbor is attacked putting up clothes and singing the folk song got me curious.

I believe this is it: from YouTube LINK

Kinda reminds me of the folk quartet bar scene in The Other Guys.

I put this on tonight and my kid fell in love during the opening titles. By the 2nd episode she was dancing along with the characters and jumping and playing.

This was great. I told my wife "It's like Peppa Pig if it was good."

I love Bluey, so of course my kid refuses to watch it anymore. Little punk.

Two Christmas ago we ordered a ton of bluey stuff from an Australia toy store. My girls were so excited when they got those dolls and one of them sleeps with bingo every night since .

I like Hilda.

Hilda is quite good too; we started reading the books with our kids and they got a big kick out of it. Just heard of Bluey, and my kiddo got a kick out of a couple of the episodes. Only thing that is a little obnoxious is that the eps are only 7 minutes.

My kid loves it. I laughed hard when the dad farted and then blamed it on Bluey.

Same here. Also lost it when the youngest girl said she really didn't have to go to the bathroom, but was going anyway as a "tactical wee".

Of all the cartoons my kids have watched, Bluey is the only one I actually don't mind watching with them for MY enjoyment rather than just out of the desire to spend time with my kids. My youngest asked for the "Bluey truck" for Christmas. Like most toys they give you a page of stickers to put on the car. However, the stickers are toys, potato chips, crumbs, balled up pieces of paper, candy wrappers, etc. to put anywhere you want in the truck as the shite kids leave all over the backseat. Brilliant!!

Thanks to this thread, I had my daughter watch it with me yesterday. She's pretty set in her ways on food, shows, etc. I was sad when she asked to watch something else after the first episode. Then, this morning she asked for it while my wife and I were cooking breakfast. We all watched the Doctor episode and got a kick out of it. I laughed out loud multiple times. Thanks for the recommendation.

It's one of my favorite that my kids watch too, although we generally have to then play all the games they play.

just read its Wikipedia page. Apparently its gotten criticism for not being woke enough. So I'm sure its pretty good.

Nonsense. The blue dog is a girl. That is the most woke shite ever.

My 5yo daughter is obsessed with this show. She has seen every episode numerous times. When I pay attention to it, I am impressed with its messaging. It's not trying to teach kids the alphabet or colors like many kid shows do, nor is it trying to be silly for silly sake. It is extremely pro family, and it teaches all the great values families ought to have. The dad constantly putting his kids first, the kids playing with and loving their parents. It's very genuine and positive, and I love that she is watching this show.

The creator said he specifically wanted to avoid being an educational show. They read up on the literature about the importance of imaginative play for children and decided to center the show on that.

Sesame Street shows kids using their imagination too, but I like that Bluey's parents and all the other adults play along too and only guide play in very small ways.

Same here. The main message I receive from this show is how important it is to be involved with your kids, and to allow them to be kids. The dad plays along with his kids at their games, and he guides them along very subtly in order to teach them respect and boundaries. That's a strong, underappreciated message

my five year old son watches it and now my 1.5 year old daughter watches it and asks for it. She dances around during the title sequences. Told my wife she is going to start talking with an Australian accent. We usually have it on in the background while we are playing when I get home from work.

Yesterday my 3 year old daughter said to me "you're dad, mommy is mum, sissy (her 1 year old little sister) is Bingo, and I'm Bluey"

So she definitely relates it to our little family. I took her calling me the dad from the show as a huge compliment

My 3 year old says her ABCs like the wiggles and always throws in a “Zed” instead of a “Zee” at the end
