OY VEY!! Possibly the most legendary over-rated, trite schtick, cringe-filled and "funny" flick ever?

Ditto Spaceballs.

(As a kid? Yeah, maybe funny.)

Mel Brooks peaked with Get Smart.

You're the kind of person that would get shown a picture of a newborn baby and tell the parent, "Cute kid. Shame he has to grow up in a world where wokeness has ruined every good thing we had growing up."

Huh? Mel Brooks has said for years that it would never be made today.

Blazing Saddles?? Really? Ok.

How old were you when you first watched it?

In your defense as well as other BS fans, it's a cute movie.

FWIW: Henny Youngman > Mel Brooks

Young man did mostly standup. 70% of his movie appearances are as himself.

Mel Brooks did Thousand Year Old Man with Reiner but he’s mostly writing/directing/acting

I saw pieces of it here and there as a kid. Don't remember the first time I sat down and watched it start to finish...maybe a young teen?

But I've seen it as recently as the last year or two and it still cracks me up now just as much as it used to, if not more. It's one of the funniest movies I've ever seen.

I'm not sure what your sense of humor looks like, but I assume it doesn't align with mine.

"What are your crimes?"

"Rape, murder, arson, and rape."

"You said rape twice."

"I like rape."
