The little bird gun runs and the delta guys taking that recoilless rifle are my favorite parts.

Other than that I was just rooting for the earth to open and swallow that entire shite hole country.

I hate seeing the bodies pulled out of the crash site by the natives

I have never seen it. I have caught the scene when the helicopter crashed and that one scene was one of the most memorable scenes I have ever seen in a movie.

The movie is a good one. I highly encourage reading the book Black Hawk Down that was written prior to the movie and upon which it is based. The book is easy to read, engrossing, and excellent. The pages will fly by.

I can't think of another movie off hand that has stirred my anger more than this one. Hard to watch indeed.

I understand. It seems to be very realistic, and if I ever had actual combat experience, would probably shy away as well. Thanks

The two guys who volunteered to be dropped off to guard the wounded pilot, two of the bravest men to walk this earth.

Two Delta Force snipers, SFC Randy Shughart and MSG Gary Gordon.

Totally understand this.

This movie always gets my emotions going, but if it is on I tend to watch. It is a great movie.

i dont know anyone involved but its just tough to watch our troops get slaughtered like that. the whole movie was like the sniper ambush scene at the end of Full metal jacket, but to top it off the pricks danced on our fallen soldiers. even the GD children.
