great movie. I've always thought Kurt Russell was underrated. Breakdown is a very good movie no one ever talks about. Now we're stuck w/ leads like Ben Affleck.

Fantastic movie.

It's even better when you realize that the inside joke is that Jack Burton thinks he's the hero. He's actually the comic relief sidekick. He's cocky and acts like a badass, but almost everything he tries fails. Wang Chi is the real
"hero" of the movie.

fricking brilliant.

Kurt Russell's best work came in two John Carpenter flicks

This and Escape from NY. Not a huge fan of much of his other stuff, except his guest appearance as jungle boy

and I did like him in Death Proof and Disney stuff

The Thing was the best Carpenter/Russell film in my opinion.

Didn;t he died in the end too? I remember there was a monster hidden under his truck at the end, hinting that he too will be taken out.

Seemed terrible.

It was a film about a macho male hero who was fighting to get the girl, not exactly topics in the Aggie realm of interest.
