Assuming its because of the writers strike, again.

So more time for them to find black and LGBTQWTF contestants.

Yes, linear programming is being delayed because of the writers strike and the major stations don't want to air re-runs.. hence why Big Brother is delayed

Wouldn’t really make sense unless they are lying about it being unscripted. Reality TV was the biggest winner during the last writer’s strike.

Reality shows are not being stopped by the strike.. they are moving the date back to air more first run tv in the fall.. hence moving Big Brother to a later start date

HERES THE ARTICLE

LINK

"When you don’t have writers, one thing you can depend on is reality. Reality TV prospered during the 2007–08 WGA strike, and now network schedules are relying on them. Big Brother is premiering on CBS on August 2, for example, rather than the customary late June or early July, likely because that means the run of the season will extend into the fall TV schedule and be a ratings boost for a network without new episodes of its popular scripted shows."

Sorry, I can't see a big brother thread without paying homage to the queens...

yep, never missed an episode until halfway through that season and that was the final straw and haven’t watched (or really missed it) since.

it’s not fun when theres this looming race/anti-cancellation cloud hanging above every decision for one set of contestants

it was going really downhill before that anyway though so good riddance

This is really disappointing. It won’t feel like summer without Big Brother. It starts in August which is a terrible start time since it won’t end until October-ish which means we will have tons of Sunday overruns from NFL games. Maybe they will look at moving the Sunday show?

I gave this show a final chance last season. It was off to a promising start before it committed suicide via Michael. Not giving them another chance.

Yeah everyone is so worried about how they look on TV now. I don’t really blame them because you have people out here trying to cancel them and ruin their life over some off handed comment, or because the voted the wrong way.

Then you have the idiots that think they are going to be famous after the show so they are fake the whole time.

Throw in the “super fans” who end up being floaters or just voting with the house, and you get the lackluster seasons.

I’ll still watch the feeds everyday and bitch about them all though lol.
