replying to the OP to avoid seeing spoilers.

I like Cody,Matt,Kevin and Christmas.

As I guessed Raven is annoying.

The Paul thing is stupid. Comes into the house immediately safe. Has people groveling at his feet for safety. And I'm guessing "america's vote" gives him the 3 week safety pendant?

The nerd was annoying but, getting evicted 12 hours in sucks.

Lot's of stacked females this season.

oh and i HATE the Paul twist. They just couldn't have one season with all new people.

10 pages since yesterday afternoon...finally caught up in here.

Throughout all of this the instagram post by Raven with Paul in it has to be the most intriguing of them all...Now yes majority of the contestants are BB fans and the previous BB people do tours around the country to go drink at bars etc and get paid for appearances, but Paul's comment back to Raven on the instagram post was nice...

"Thanks for being so sweet (Palm Tree Emoji, Prayer emoji, black heart emoji)"

Now I'm sure we could break down the emojis and try to use them as clues?? First off just getting a response back from someone like that you obviously got their attention...so how much did they know each other(prob not much) but still interesting and would be fun for BB to show it on BB after dark or on the show that they have met...see how the convo goes.

As for Paul wouldn't have gotten in without the 25K temptation, seriously doubt that. Production would have had a backup plan and Paul would have came in at some point...

Winners in all of this, Kevin(old guy) for getting 25K and getting to stick around, Paul for handing out friendship bracelets and flying under the radar, and ofcoarse he will be safe for the first 3 weeks....So Paul has a month in the house so that he can get in with the newbies and CBS gets to pitch the new cast to everyone while he's safe...Smart play CBS.

So has anyone here got the All Access yet for this season? I haven't even watched last night's opener yet. BBOT kind of burnt me out, and I'm having a hard time deciding to get into this season. Plus bringing back a veteran (especially one as big as Paul) is not helping them entice me to get back into the BB craze this season. Does this cast seem to have potential for an entertaining season?

Not really, IMO. But I'll hold final judgement for a few more episodes. Most seem pretty boring. It will likely end up being the Paul show, especially after he gets safety for the next 3 weeks.

I think it def has potential..

We need some drama...ruffle some feathers, etc... Obviously you wont see that off the bat, but I think shite could get interested with the guy who won the comp last night for safety and Paul.... you can see they both already don't like each other.

Some things are funny in the first week like when they normally evict the black person and I hear cries of racism.

Jessica is a smoke show

I logged into my CBS account fro last year and although I do not believe I have been billed for the last 8 months since I canceled it looks like my account is still active.

Maybe. That guy just seems so aloof, the house will take Paul's side and he'll be quickly voted out.

The Cuban guy will probably stir up some drama, but he also seemed a little infatuated with Paul, so Paul will cut him.

Elena will stir up some drama. She seems crazy, both in a fun and scary way.

I didn't hate the cast but I have to give it a few weeks to get a better idea of what we're looking at.

So far my thoughts are:

Kevin- Mayor of Float City. He's not a physical threat, doesn't appear to be a mental one(that could change), and pretty laid back. No one will waste an eviction on him if he just continues on his current course.

Megan- While unappealing to the eye, if she got smart and aligned with Paul, could prove interesting. I could see her using Paul for awhile and then backstabbing him when the time's right. There's potential for major paranoia and control issues with her though.

Jason- Rodeo Clown could be a solid balance of a mentally/physically strong player.

Ramses/Josh- Both need to calm it down. Josh won't last long. And he's going to be one that takes the heat off a real target for a week or two due to his Devinish qualities.

Alex- Solid contender if she doesn't get to feisty early on.

Christmas- I like her but she needs to chill with hamming it up in the DR. That gets old fast.

The rest are all blah to me so far.

Can't wait to see how I'm completely wrong on all of this in a few weeks.

This seems like one of the better casts in the past few seasons IMO.

Dick tweeted about the instagram pic with Paul and Raven and said he's taken 100k pics with fans so not to read too much into it on Paul's part, but I could see it being a thing with Raven. As far as responding, if he was tagged in it I'm sure he just threw out a generic thank you.

Christmas is a triple threat gotta vote her out.

words of a coward.

It's too early in the game for that. Why not align with the strong players to help yourself get further?

I think there is loads of potential. I like the cast. I have all access and see no reason to cancel.

Seems here and another board I visit I'm in the minority that wasn't all that impressed with the cast.

I think part of it is my frustration with them yet again bringing back a former player and giving him a huge advantage right off the bat.

this is really ALL of my frustration right now. Giving any one person an unfair advantage ruins this show.

I didn't care much for Cody at first but after some consideration, I think he has potential to be a good player.

he says what he feels, no BS. strong competitor. isn't impressed by Paul at all, which is good.

if you've watched Paul play and aren't impressed then you don't understand the game

I will probably brake down and get the all access. It's just such an investment from a time perspective, and the BBOT season burnt me out. I guess I'll watch last night's episode when I get home, then catch tonight's episode and see if they can draw me back into the all access summer routine.

So has Paul already got the 3 weeks of safety?

no there is a public vote open on cbs website right now

if paul wins, then he has to actually accept the temptation.

voting is open for all house guests.

i still don't think those "votes" are real. If Paul wins the vote, I will be thoroughly convinced.

The other house guests haven't been on long enough for any fans to form a real attachment to. Paul is the only one that watchers really know. Why didn't they just make the 3 weeks of safety part of his return, and shed all pretense of production trying to keep him safe.
