ok so I think maybe I'm misunderstanding this.

There's 12 envelopes. All sealed and all with a ticket inside but only 1 of them is round trip. Every HG can go in the room and take an envelope and hold onto it, to be opened with Julie if/when they're evicted.

So how could this twist possibly be used to save frank if there's only an 8% chance he'll draw the RT envelope? If the envelopes were labeled with everyone's names then sure, although that would be hella obvious

I think the fact that they really pushed it the past few days so they'd find it before Thursday could possibly show they kind of hope Frank finds the envelope with the return card in it.

The fact that they chose this week to give them the chance is why people are saying that.

But if you want to get into the big conspiracy side like some on twitter, they think that production told Frank which one to pick because all of the envelopes were numbered 1 thru 12.

Wow!

Thanks for the detailed explanation on what occurred! Wow! Wow! Lol awesome! I do believe that Producers are attempting to save Frank. It's great TV and #whynot? So...yeah I think that 8% chance Frank has, he'll have it...

Hopefully the house flips on Da' and gets her arse out...Frank wins HOH and we got some magical tv to watch ha!

As a BB watcher you want to see stuff like this occur in the game, you don't like to see people like Z, michelle, etc not contribute anything, yet feel entitled to stay in the game...definitely have my popcorn ready and can't wait for Thursday's show, since I bet that's when all this madness will air so that Thursday can just be a huge epic show.

the teeny tiny portion of america that watches live feeds and constantly skims the blogs/boards might. The CBS viewers won't hate her at all since she's hardly ever even shown on live eps.

Unless they show Michelle & Bridgette's "confrontation" yesterday morning in the bathroom. If they do, I'm sure that they will show some of the background stuff that led up to it (like the fact that the main reason she hates Bridgette is because of a comment that wasn't even made about her, and how catty she's been toward Bridgette for most of the season so far).

But the funniest part of that whole ordeal yesterday morning was James starting to head up the stairs after coming out of the DR (he was the only other person up), he suddenly stops, and just plops down on the staircase, and just listens to the show in only the way that James can. I watched it last night, and I just watched his camera the whole time. I got a chuckle out of him.

This could be getting way too tinfoil hat about production...all the envelopes in the secret room are empty and they give Frank the winning envelope in a DR session. They were told that if anyone opens their envelope it invalidates the prize. If production's end game is saving Frank, then why chance that someone picks up the winning envelope first?

Will be interesting for sure.

game needs a shake-up. Last year they got rid of their ultra-twists because the house was interesting. Boring game right now with no major issues for the majority

I think them actually telling Frank which envelope has the round trip is really pretty extreme when it comes to tinfoil hatting. I do think that it is a big coincidence that they chose the week Frank was headed out the door to reveal the twist, especially since they are paying the vets an actual salary and I could definitely see them wanting to get the most out of that investment. But to outright give Frank the round trip is probably going a little too far.

Is there some kind of writer's strike looming that I'm not aware of? That was the only reason they did it last time - BB is cheap to produce and fills three major time slots.

Lest we forget, this has only been done once. It is almost unanimously confirmed as the worst season ever.

The winner used the prize money to start a prescription drug ring, was caught by the DEA, and went to federal prison. It was just bad all over.

I think BB is perfect for the summer, but I just don't think I'd have time to invest in it during the fall with all of the fall shows that I like to watch.

For me, the live feeds are the only way to go. I've gotten to where I don't get all that excited about the actual shows other than to see how much production edited the week. And just don't think I'd have the time to invest for the live feeds during the fall.

I saw some speculate that they're trying to get season 19 out of the way because they've got an idea for 20 and would like to get to it quicker.

I refuse to get my hopes up for allstars though
