Bale doesn't have even close to the range of Leo, I don't give a damn who does the movies.

I personally think Bale disappears more into his roles than Leo.

With Leo, I just see Leo in costume or Leo with an accent.

Bale I think has taken more risks of late and has been rewarded for it

I absolutely love Bale as an actor, but Leo fricking blows him out of the water in that department.

Bale bugs the shite out of me.

I love The Prestige but wish someone else had played his role.

Leo was great in The Aviator.

Bale's the better actor. DiCaprio is the bigger star.

Bale as a gay British glitter rock fan in 1998:

Two years later as a Wall Street nut cutter that does two chicks at the same time:

Seriously though

The Machinist:

And his best role in The Fighter:

Has Leo got that kind of range?

This.

When I think Bale I think Batman and Bruce Wayne and Fallon and Bordon and Bateman and Dickie and Dan Evans and Quinn, etc....

When I think Leo I just think Leo as the same guy in different situations. I can't even think of the name of his characters on most of his movies.

I learned when The Revenant came out that this board loses its mind when it comes to Leo, but I can't believe this is a serious question. Bale might be the best living actor and Leo isn't in his universe. It's a joke to even compare the two.

It's absolutely close.

And they both have a broad catalogue to back them
up.

I'm going Bale, because I think he's IRL a little crazier and can swim out deeper by that virtue.

Add getting fat and bald to his physical transformations. Not many A-listers are willing to do that.
