That movie sucked so I disregard it.

It still sucked.

No one wanted to make it and it shows.

It's cool idea but I definitely thought BA would go the noir/detective/crime drama route.

Really? Another batman movie and with Ben affleck? Just when you thought movies today couldn't possibly get more insufferable they do

I thought Suicide Squad was part of the new DC cinematic universe. Wouldn't make much sense to switch Jokers so soon.

Considering Affleck is a great Batman and a fine director, I wouldn't exactly call it insufferable.

Been waiting for them to use Arkham in a real sense in the films. I love the idea. Never played the video game but loved the GN. That as a foundation is a great start and go from there.

not everyone in the world has played the video game so I just don't think that should "stop" a movie going there

Kind of interesting.
I would like to see a balls to the walls adaptation of Killing Joke, personally. (Directed by David Fincher and with Benedict Cumberbatch as the Joker)

Take my money

Well, that and I'm sure his contract to play Doctor Strange has a line in it saying "You can NEVER EVER be in a DC movie. And if you are, you owe us a gazillion dollar penalty."
Matter of fact, I bet one of the reasons Marvel cast Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange was just to keep him from playing the Joker or Brainiac or doing the voice of Darkseid.

No chance he would sign a contract like that

There's got to be a non-compete between the MCU and DC. Yeah, I'm exaggerating about a big financial penalty. But there's a reason you don't hear talk about Chris Pratt as the next Green Lantern or Christian Bale as Adam Warlock.

I'd like for them to set it as a mystery in Arkham that he has to solve, so there's a Detective element to it. And its going on while Arkham is on lockdown for some reason, so its just him and the inmates in there. But i want him to have a com link to Alfred so they can talk investigative theories and shite while its all going on and while he's kicking arse.
