If it does take place inside the asylum how awesome would it be to have Hamill voice Joker and you only hear him through the loudspeaker most of the movie.

There's an episode in the Batman: The Animated Series were Batman gets taken to Arkham and put on trial for "making them all become the villains they are. The new DA in town gets taken as well (she dislikes Batman immensely) and she has to defend him so that they both get set free. That could be a cool, unique way to set it up.
