Bear Grylls...no question. His show is by far more extreme. Whenever you kill a snake, skin it, eat that snake, then piss in the snake skin to drink later...you are a man. Survivorman cant hold his jock

I'll admit Man vs Wild is the more entertaining show but Survivorman is the more useful show

eh yes and no...so you would take survivorman over bear?

True, if i were stranded somewhere, I would take survivorman, he can survive anywhere.

Bear can survive ANYWHERE...and never has more than some clothes and a lighter

I'd rather watch Man vs. Wild, but Stroud would definitely be the one I would most like to have with me if I were stranded somewhere.

Are you asking which guy I would rather have with me or which show I would watch for the more useful tips and strategies?

Who would you rather be with...i think the questions go hand-in-hand though. Id pick Bear cuz I believe his techniques are sounder and have been proven in more conditions than Stroud

too bad Bear Grylls ia fake fwiw.

I was going to let that one go, because he is pretty knowledegable regardless.

But yeah, Les is certainly more proven of being able to survive ALONE, without a camera crew to save his life like Bear.

Yeah, I'll take Bear if we get to go sleep in his hotel room after filming instead of actually staying out there. Also, can his film crew come and leave us some horses, camels, etc, to use?

Its hard to tell because Bear's show is a full blown production, I watched some of the behind the scenes stuff and there is ALOT of staging taking place. I'm surprised they showed just how much staging they do.
Having said that if you watch either show for tips or techniques then you better know how to climb mountains and vertical walls if you're going to survive off of Bear's advice. To answer the question I'd rather have Les with me

Why is he climbing mountains and kayaking in rivers though? cuz he is surviving in much harsher conditions...stroud break a hip

The big difference is that Survivorman limits himself to what you would actually do if you were in a survival situation by yourself.
Bear Grylls does all of the extreme shite because he has a crew of other people with him who could aid him in an emergency... hence, he can push the limits.

Help him survive? thats based on??? his camera crew is just that a camera crew...
Bear has a safety team with a safety guy who pre-rigs stuff and approves or disapproves everything Bear does
