BB question - Sorta spinoff (Spoilers Of course)

Okay so I'm a couple of episodes into Season 5. In the season 4 finale, it's made apparent that Walt somehow poisoned Brock with that Lily of the Valley plant. So how exactly did he poison him? Is that something that is revealed in a latter episode? Did it have an explanation and I just missed it? Did the writers just say frick it we'll skip over that?
I found the writing in Seasons 1 and 2 to be great, the season 3 writing to be very good, but not elite like the first two and the season 4 writing to be rather meh as it goes for top notch dramas. Felt like they were playing it fast and loose as they went along. Anyways, thanks for the answers
