It was enjoyable at times, especially the fight scenes, but also drug and was oddly confusing at other points.

It seems they put a lot of comic references in that I don't see how nonreaders would have any clue about. For example, what the hell were those flying things? I've since seen readers explain what they meant, but during the movie I just thought it was random and stupid.

What did other nonreaders think?

Readers, you have your own threads where you have given your views, so try to leave us to our blissful comics ignorance.

I'd complain about another thread but I'm curious about this take as well. I'm a melting comic reader.

General audiences are forgiving an (at times) incoherent story and bizarre references that are lost on them because of cool action and good performances. That's my take so far.

I'm sure that will work for the Transformers viewing class who just want loud noises and big explosions, but I was literally saying "what the frick?" and rolling my eyes throughout the film.

And the whole Martha thing, get the frick out of here with that.

I'd be pissed if I sat next to someone that was saying what the frick every 5 Seconds.

By the way Zack Snyder thinks your tears taste glorious.

We'll find out. So far I've seen some pretty bizarre statements like "What an AWESOME movie!" "8/10!!!", "BTW, they need to replace Zack Snyder. He's terrible." I've never seen anything like it.

Yeah, I couldn't help but think to myself that the casual viewer is going to have no idea what's going on here. Even I was confused since I didn't see how Batman would know about those things.

the clark/lois scenes were incredibly cheesy, esp the I love you.

the guitar riff when WW shows up at the final battle was straight up weird

did they ever establish how lex knew Bruce's alter ego?

just weird pacing all the way thru.

Yeah this too. Any retard could figure out that Clark was Superman due to the events of Man of Steel, but I have no idea how Lex knew that about Batman.

I think I said it audibly just once, but I did mumble it a few times and just shake my head wondering what the hell they were doing. They made a big deal of Batman being captured and interrogated by Superman in the one preview/sneak peak they released, then it turned out to be a dream sequence.

The one with Lois in the bathtub was okay, though I wish we'd have gotten some nipple. Maybe in the R rated version.

Three other threads are just about all non comic readers. This thread is not needed

dream sequences are retarded in the first place unless said dreams are integral to the plot.

Snyder has NO IDEA how to convey internal conflicts on screen other than through dreams and/or having the actors look crazy constipated and angry.

Batman: On the count of three, say your mom's name. Ready? One, two, three.

Batman, Superman: MARTHA.

Superman: [stomps foot] What?

Batman: Did we just become best friends?

Superman: Yep!

[they high five each other]

I'm not a comic book reader and I thought it was terrible. The dialogue was just so bad.

I still have no idea what that dream was with all the flying things

No way this stays a non-comic readers thread.

Prepare your anus.

I'm fine with them posting, they've already given the majority of responses, just so they don't feel like they have to drop their knowledge on us BvS Hodors.
