Hopefully they'll keep it a comic book movie and ask the audience to suspend their disbelief when it comes to Clark and Superman (as they do with Arrow).

quote:It's the only way Superman should be done. The way Clark was in the originals was perfect (with the exception of Lois not knowing). He's so nerdy and is so over looked there's no way he could be Superman. Is that reality? No. But this is not based on reality. To me I'm seeing more and more signs that this movie is going to be more comic book and less Dark Knight. As it should be when Superman is involved.

Looking at recent photos from the set of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, it appears that director Zack Snyder has a very interesting one of these planned for his film- and if it means what we think it means, it could actually tell us a lot about the direction the movie is taking for its portrayal of legendary villain Lex Luthor.
quote:
Back in 1987, John Byrne wrote a story called "Metropolis 900 Mi." which was largely set at a diner called "Ralli's," seen above. Lex Luthor sits down to have himself a meal, but quickly finds his attention drawn towards his waitress, Jenny. The bald villain decides to make the woman an indecent proposal: he will give her a million dollars if she comes to live with him for a month. Jenny is disgusted by this offer, explaining that she has a husband and doesn't need his money. Of course, Lex is an evil psychopath, and doesn't take no for an answer. He proceeds to completely dominate Jenny mentally, explaining how every decision she has made in her life has been wrong. After completely breaking her down, he says that he will give her 10 minutes to make a decision. We never know what Jenny's final decision would be, as Lex decides to drive off before the countdown ends - which, Lex explains to his driver, was the whole point of the exercise.

I have a feeling Bruce & Clark figure out each other's identities by the end of the movie consider this movie is leading to the Justice League. i could be wrong, but that is my guess.
Not that I'm advocating for it in the movie, but one of my favorite moments from Justice League was this little clip when Batman shows everyone who's boss.

That could be an establishing scene for Lex Luthor. That could be really awesome way to establish what a little slimeball he is.

No joke. Just like the opening to TDK established how clever and evil the Joker was, this scene would do the same for Lex Luthor. Sounds like something Frank Underwood would pull off.

Honestly, its kind of similar to the opening scene of The Social Network, although obvious Lex is much less socially awkward and much more of a sociopath in this proposed scene.
But man, if done right, that could be an iconic opening scene for the character.

A shame that there will be no surprise for the comic reading audience, since this cat is potentially out of the bag.

Do yall think they could make "Injustice: Gods Among Us" into a movie? With the amount of names being dropped for this movie and the dark feel of MOS, it doesn't seem TOO far fetched that it could fit into this universe. The game was badass.
