Well it's time make your prediction. Two months away and I haven't been this excited for a film since the first X-Men movie. I think we've all seen enough to get a feeling about this film. It has changed a LOT since first announced and now we're looking at Wonder Woman, Doomsday, and who knows what else (still some surprises left IMO). I will admit to going through some doubts in the process, but in the end everything I have seen so far along with Chris Terrio as a writer gives me hope that this film will be big, well written, and and compelling. No doubt I am a DC fanboy since my parents first brought home a reproduction Superman #1 and Justice League comic books when I was 7 years old, so I have a lot of hope for this film- but I will also admit to being wrong if it is bad. So here is my thought:

EPIC

What you got?

It will either be really good or really horrible. You generally kind of know what you're getting with the Marvel movies. I have no idea what this will be like. There's good stuff in the trailers, but I don't think Zack Snyder "gets" Superman.

I think it's going to suck. And no, that does not mean I will walk in wanting to hate it. I will give it every chance.

This might actually make me like it more than those who have the expectation of it topping The Dark Knight.

I'd like it to be good. I'm a little worried that they are leaking tons of stuff; by the time it's released there won't be much of anything left to spoil. I mean, showing us Doomsday, really?

I don't know what to think about this movie.

At first I figured it would be mediocre at best, then the more I heard about it the more I got into the notion and actually became excited about the premise.

Now, with the new trailers and seeing an unimpressive Wonder Woman (in my opinion) has left me not sure again.

I may wait to dvd for this one unless the reviews just blow me away.

This.

I think it's going to be Man of Steel v2. It's going to hit its number, probably in the realm of 1.1 - 1.3 billion. But I think it trends lower in reviews.

MoS was something like 750 million Worldwide and has a 56% RT score.

But that's a success...so not Epic, Not Flop, but Money Maker.

It honestly looks really dumb. It will make its money back, though.

If I was betting on it, I would go Flop. Hoping for Epic though. Never a comic book fan growing up but have enjoyed the load of movies over the past few years. A lot of people like to be critics about them, I just look for entertainment and nearly all of them have severed their purpose for me.

There is always room for middle ground, I just don't see it being occupied much on any of these boards. I suppose we could include an OK, Meh, or Decent category to suit those needs.

"Trends lower in reviews," a la MoS. I think it gets to 65-75 for RT score.

It ill be a success.

A flop would be 40 and below. Anything above 50 and it makes a billion. Easily.

I hope it's good but it wouldn't suprise anyone if it's not.

The only reason I care to see it is Affleck's Batman and the fact that Terrio rewrote the script.

It will make a ton of money, but I don't think it will make as much as the studio has projected. The marketing has been shockingly bad, and the second trailer was a disaster.
