I think the bat suit looks great. Would it be a little better with bigger ears and a smaller symbol? Maybe. But it's still the best suit ever put on film, IMO.

The Batman suite is based on a particular style from the comics. It's not my favorite style, but it's not something the movie invented.

Yeah, the design is based on The Dark Knight Returns. It's not my favorite design either.
ETA: Still the best suit put on film. I like that they didn't try to reinvent the wheel. Take it from the source.

I know- she looks like Shiva from Mortal Kombat. What really bothers me though is that fricking crease on her right where her pectoral meets her shoulder .
