Watching Remember the Titans today, it's crazy how Ryan Gosling was the most minor character in the movie, and then he goes from that, to one of the most recognizable and likeable big name actors in the world. I know this has nothing to do with Baby Driver or Drive, but it's crazy how good an actor he is.

Unfortunately, when I see Goessling, all I can think of us The Place Beyond the Pines and I will never be able to get that part of my life back.

I don't get the unfettered love Drive. Yes, the opening 15 minutes is easily one of the finest things put on film in the last 30 years, and the robbery car chase to m, rivals Bullitt... but other than those 2 sequences, the movie kind of takes a huge step back and just turns into a bit of a dud for me.

I feel the driver character loses his mistique the further the film goes. However, the look, feel, and camera work are all as good as it gets. It's so close to being a great, great movie, but it falls short.

If that's the case, then I'll make sure to stay far away from Baby Driver.

bullshite. I can totally understand someone not liking this movie, but having great movies requires movies like this being made.

I would take Hollywood taking chances on movies like Drive 100 times before I would have then rebooting shite like Footloose, Ghostbusters, etc. This is how great movies eventually come along.

Drive was loved because it felt so retro.

There's a lot of cool music montage scenes if you like that sort of stuff.
