Yeah I don't understand how you can spoil this movie. The movie's narrative focus is not going to be a surprise.

I'm aware. This a negotiation tactic. He's pretty much the face of Marvel along with RDJ. He'll take some time off (and maybe not even be in IW1) and come back with a new Avengers only contract.
The great thing about playing Cap is you can play him a little older as well.
Evans will be Cap, I don't see Stan permanently taking the mantle.
Also, who's to say Marvel/Disney doesn't throw him a directing gig at some point?
