Yay, Varrick's back. Thought that he's be working for the Earth Queen this season in taking back Republic City, and be a foil for her as well (can't think of two characters that would clash more and think it'd lead to some hilarious scenes). Knew someone had to be harboring him, and he couldn't go to Republic City and the Northern Water Tribe, and it'd be too risky to go to the SWT or Fire Nation with Korra's father and Zuko in charge, so seemed like the logical route.

Still pretty solid, and I love the blackmail at the end of that commercial on how they're not posting them online. Assholes.
And yeah, Toph REALLY got around. Just pure slut territory to have two kids from two different fathers and them have no idea who their parents are.
And Zaheer discussing the void, I think we're about to get the dark version of airbending: voidbending. Would be awesome to see.

I went back and watched The Beginnings Part 1 and 2 from last season when we learned about the first avatar.
My goodness, it's still amazing. Probably one of the best episodes of any animated series.

It still stands up. Looking back, I think the very end of the 1st season and the first half of the second shite the bed. Korra's behavior would be fine if she lost everything at the end of season 1, but besides that, it's complete character regression and why many got pissed and hated her. Now she's progressed but is still a hot head. The old Korra would have flipped her shite several times so far this season, but while maybe getting a little heated, she's still able to have a level head on her shoulders. She'd just go in and kick the president's and the Earth Queen's arse before, but now she has a better sense of patience and sense. It's pretty refreshing actually.

Well, got two new ones tonight, and they've also released the titles of the remainder of the season, and honestly it will be over within the month. Season is flying by.
Episode #1: A Breath of Fresh Air
Episode #2: Rebirth
Episode #3: The Earth Queen
Episode #4: In Harm’s Way
Episode #5: The Metal Clan
Episode #6: Old Wounds
Episode #7: Original Airbenders
Episode #8: The Terror Within
Episode #9: The Stakeout
Episode #10: Long Live the Queen
Episode #11: The Ultimatum
Episode #12: Enter the Void
Episode #13: Venom of the Red Lotus
Really like the names of the final two episodes.

Did you say earlier that they are no longer online?

They're doing some retarded blackmailing market strategy to force people to watch it. They're going to put them online 1 month after their release, but the executives and marketing teams are too stupid to realize that Korra is heavily serialized and people aren't going to watch an episode they missed because they'd miss a lot of plot, and thus I expect ratings to go down again this week. You can still easily find them in good quality on Youtube though.
I'm sure they'll cave next week, but the way Nick has treated this and the previous series as a whole is just retarded. Seriously, a fricking kids book was released spoiling the whole 3rd season of the original series before the series proper was released. It just doesn't make sense to me why they wouldn't sell the Complete series in a single pack and wouldn't put this series on a non-weekend night. I'm out in Midland right now, so I don't have shite else to do, but if I had some semblance of a social life, no way in hell would I stay in.

Hulu has the first 3 episodes online.
Screw Nick and just go to anime flavor or cartoon online.

Solid two episodes, but they feel a bit more like filler than previous ones. We now know that the Anti-Team Avatar were also out to assassinate the president, but they couldn't do it in the end.
And Jinora definitely has a point that she's earned the tattoos. And how brutal is that for the Earth King's bear to be butchered and then eaten by his own daughter?

Yeah, I'm thinking both are as well. Think Varrick saves the day in some way this season.

So apparently episode 8 will air on tv this Friday and the remaining episods will only be available digitally.

Thanks to Nick being run by a bunch of complete retards, it seems Korra is being taken off the fricking air. I guess those idiots are too stupid to figure out that ratings on a Friday night aren't that stellar and especially aren't if you announce an entire fricking season less than a week than it's supposed to air. For whatever reason, the adult viewers haven't decreased as a whole since Season 2, but they decide since kids have better things to do with their lives to almost cancel the series.
Honestly the Nick Executives should be tarred and feathered for their treatment of this series as a whole. They debuted the the final 10 episodes of the original series within 5 days and a 2 week warning during the middle of the summer, saw a shocking rating, and then handed it to Shyamalan to be brutally raped and murdered. Then they get a redemption, get good ratings the first season, and then blindly assign it to the Friday Night death slot for no reason. But the adults stick with it, and they're frustrated that the kids don't keep up with the social networking to know that it changed to a night they like to play "spot-light" on? Nick can go frick themselves.
Fortunately it makes financial sense to release this and season 4 to the public (Season 4 is in post production), but given how fricking retarded Nick is, it wouldn't shock me if Friday gave us our final episode of Avatar. frick Nick.

Yeah tv execs in general don't know how to handle cartoons that appeal to any demos aside from 8-12 year old boys.
Cartoon Network is notorious for screwing over shows like Young Justice, that screwed older and more female.

This is just nuts. They've finished everything but the god damn finale, and I'm sure Nick is dumb enough to cancel it as a whole. These guys need to be kicked in the nuts repeatably. It's 100% Nick's fault that the ratings are down due the death slot.

Holy frick Nick sucks so hard. They rather blame ratings on the fans then their God awful promotion. Seriously frick Nick.
Maybe Mike and Bryan can take Avatar to Adult Swim

I'm hoping Netflix. Throughout this season I kept thinking to myself "How fricking awesome and promotable would this series be on Netflix?"
The thing is, Netflix will inevitably get an incredible animated series, and people will compare it to Avatar. Season 3 inparticullarly I think could thrive on that format.
I think we'll get the whole series, but I wouldn't put it past the complete lobatomized tards at Nick to accept a 5 million loss instead of a 100K gain simply out of spite. I'm serious when I say they should be tarred and feathered. Nick has to be the single worst studio in tha nation. Avatar didn't gain traction until 2 years after it ended, and I expect the same for this. But these mother frickers are too stupid too see in the long term... scratch that, the heavily short term. Long term for these stupid mother frickers is one fricking week. They have no patience, despite the fact in the past 2 weeks Avatar has had better ratings than the last. They are just a bunch of stupid ruthless mother frickers, and hoperfully they're dead by next week. If they want to look at a long term deal that way, I'll look at their lives in the same way. frick em and please die by next week. And I'll look on you in the same way you look at this series. Eat shite Viacom.

Yeah even the original series they really promoted poorly. Although, being 13 when the first episode aired I didn't really notice it
Netflix, Hulu, or whatever, Avatar just needs to leave Nick. Since the fans of the original are now all in college they might be able do more on Netflix.
