So just watched the last episode ( Here's a link to it if you haven't seen it
), and I thought it was better than the first two. It's about time Korra starts catching up to how her uncle is evil. Not even that subtle about it, since he's sitting on an ice throne in a dark ominous room all alone. Definitely starting to get a Palpatine vibe from him as a villain, and he's point blank stated that he's wanting to "unite" the world. He's definitely pulling what Sozin attempted to do to Roku in having the Avatar on his side.
Really liked the subplot with Tenzin and his siblings. Doesn't really shock me all that much how they had a kinda fricked-up childhood and that Aang was much more distant with his other 2 children than he was with Tenzin. I'm curious what happened to Ikki though. Something tells me she's been abducted into the Spirit World and that opening that portal merely released a ton of spirits that are now causing worldwide chaos.
And I'm really liking the creepy twins and especially Verin. That guy is fricking hilarious and absolutely steels every scene he's in.
Also the Southern Water Tribe must have really gotten down and dirty the moment the War ended. Seriously, there were only like 60 of them at the end of the last series, and now it looks like the South has tens of thousands of people living down there. One hell of a baby boom right there.
