I read through the first 20 chapters of the manga last week. It seems like a lot of people hate how goofy so many of the Titans look (and love the look of the Colossal one) but I think it actually makes them a whole lot creepier. Imagine being slowly eaten alive by this thing.

I finally watched the anime since I've read most of the manga. They did a good job (for the most part). I don't know how people watch the dub though.

I appreciate the originals with subtitles, but how can you tell if an anime has good voice acting in Japanese? Unless you speak the language, you'd really have no idea. And There are some damn fine American voice actors doing anime now, seeing as how the medium has been popular for more than 20 years in the US.

I haven't and won't deny this (Cowboy Bebop had really good English VAs), just that the majority I can't stand listening to and would rather listen to the original VAs

AOT's dub is decent but some of the voices are awful and the titans all sound like Godzilla.
Plus you know to be wary of the dub when Funimation is in charge if you're an old school DBZ fan.

And it looks like the rumors were true and this season is only 12 episodes.
