Ask a maester: Where Hodors go for answers (Stolen Valar Morghulis edition)

Are you a Hodor who has a question about what is going on in the show? Do you want answers without wading through tons of crazy spoilers ruining your watching experience? Then this is your place.
Here, bookreaders will answer your questions without spoiling future show/book events. This should help you to have a better understanding of the backstories around certain characters, their motivations, what happened to that guy?, isn't he dead?, now who's this naked chick?, where'd this butt sex inquisition come from?, ect.

He cares not for the religious. Varys does what Varys does for "the realm". As a Targaryen loyalist, his opinion on the Faith Militant would therefor depend on whether he believes it to be helping or hurting his plans to put Dany on the throne. At this point, the faith is weakening the current regime, which certainly helps, at least in the short term. Long term, they may be a serious issue.

As far as we know, yes. The show has reached the books on that plot, so any future developments are TBD.
