I think that The Flash's success is really gonna make the Arrow team up their game effects and action wise. Arrow has always had great stunt work and fight choreography but what they need to do now is take the archery part and crank it to 11.

Green Arrow is one of the worlds best archers, its time to really make that part shine. I know his accuracy with a bow has been good on the show and probably reflects real life but I can only recall two shots he's made in the entire series that made me go "Damnnnnn" (shooting the rpg the mayor shot at him and hitting the grenade Shrapnel threw overhead of a crowd).

He finally looks like a superhero, now he needs to start doing some Hawkeye in Avengers level archery.

To be fair, They were spouting stuff like this about season 3.

I won't believe anything until I can see it for myself.

From what I've gathered about the first episode is that Oliver and Felicity are already back in town but he hasnt returned to active duty. Laurel/Thea/Dig are holding down the fort when Damien Darhk does some mean nasty evil shite that forces Oliver's return to the superhero business.

Atleast they're not waiting until midseason to actually start the plot this time.

So many random villains.

Feels like there will be one comic book villain per episode at this point.

Wonder how they will work the fact they cast a black man for a Nazi villain.

This deserves its own post.

Good gracious the women on this show are hot.

The three of them, in the interview they posted in the article from comic con, were beyond smoking. Makes a man get want to dive through the screen.

Oliver running for Mayor maybe? God knows that job has a high turn over rate.

Following the interview, that couch went for $120,000 on eBay.

Arrow's next victi-err mayor

Jeri Ryan on Arrow

quote:

the character is vying to be the new mayor and is a longtime pal of Moira’s; as such, she was once close with Oliver and Thea. Her political ambitions will make her a target for a menacing antagonist.

Yeah, I bid on it, but my $200 wasn't quite enough.

Lots of new news thats come out thats been covered in other threads, mainly Constantine showing up in episode 5. Entertainment Weekly released the first picture of the new Arrow cave, seems to be a big upgrade.

quote:

“In designing the new lair, we had to think in terms of the much larger group that Oliver [Stephen Amell] has now surrounded himself with and how Team Arrow is a much bigger enterprise,” says executive producer Marc Guggenheim, who declined to provide the actual location of the new lair within Star City.

“One of the fun things about this lair is that as opposed to one big space, where everyone would congregate, it’s now a much larger space divided up into smaller spaces,” he continues. “There is an area for Felicity [Emily Bett Rickards] to work, there is an area for Oliver to work out, and there is a garage. There are many different places we’ll continue to discover over the course of the season that give you a sense that this thing is a bit bigger than we got used to in the first three years.”

Could be the precursor to an actual Watch Tower

Oh, that's VERY easy. The Arab Nations were all-in with the Axis during WWII because of the "Final Solution".

There's still room for John Constantine to put his runic protections too.

The new cave begs the question. Who finances team Arrow? Wasn't he practically broke at the end of Season 2?

Ray Palmer would be my guess.

Yeah, I could see that now. However, they seemed to have some serious money flowing in most of season 3 before Palmer even knew his identity.

Palmer transferred control of his company over to Felicity at the end of last season so Palmer Tech is indirectly funding it.

Also when Oliver went "broke" he wasn't normal person kind of broke. The producers said he still had a couple of million, not Wayne type of money but enough to keep the lights on.
