Mr. Baseball was pretty good. Caught it late one night when nothing else was on.

Eight Men Out is excellent, provided you don;t mind John Cusack trying not to look like an accountant while playing ball. On the other hand, DB Sweeny and Charlie Sheen actually look the part...and I had heard Sweeny actually played some college ball somewhere. In any event, pretty good flick.

Stealing Home was fairly good if I remember. More of a coming of age movie that revolves around a ball player.

As far as some great baseball movies, I'd add:

Field of Dreams
Sandlot
61*
Bull Durham
For Love of the Game
Bad News Bears

Eight Men Out (1988)

One of my Top 5 Baseball films. Charlie Sheen does a spectacular job here in the story of the Black Sox scandal. Great dialogue, great baseball footage, great storytelling combine for one of the best baseball movies ever.

Mr. Baseball (1992)

An slightly above average baseball movie about a huge American star breaking in over in Japan. Hilarity ensues. It's definitely watchable.

I liked this a ton. Very different type of baseball movie as it shows the path of someone coming into the U.S. from the Dominican Republic.

This was pretty good for being straight-to-video. Gives an interesting look at Dominicans in the sport.

Soul of the Game, about Jackie Robinson, Satchel Paige and Josh Gibson, is also a good watch.

Awesome movie and it's about as close to an accurate historical account of the events as you can get.

I don't think too many people are going to agree with you on that one. It's a good movie, just not the best ever.

I though Sugar was terrible. Not a fan. Mr. Baseball though was great.

For Love of the Game should be added. Yeah it's a love story, but the deep story of the career ending is great.

Eight Men Out (1988) -- One of the best baseball movies ever made, based on perhaps the best baseball book ever written. A much better look at Shoeless Joe than Field of Dreams.

Stealing Home (1988) - not awful, but not good.

The Comrades of Summer (1992) - Is this the Joe Mantagna baseball movie? If so, its good for a laugh at how bad it is.

Mr. Baseball (1992) - Surprisingly decent.

The Scout (1994) - It has its moments, even if it is a perversion of the steve Dalkowski story. why not just tell Steve Dalkowski's story?

Sugar (2008) - Pretty good. Not great, but worth a watch.
