It's so damn good to see them back in action.

Haven't seen the episode yet since I'll be getting off work in an hour. Good start to the season I hope?

Pretty good so far (watching the 10 PM CDT repeat).

Solid episode. Didn't love everything they did with it, but I think I like the new feel. I wonder how long they play out this Chinatown plot. I'd rather see it as a 3-4 episode arc than a full season one. I want to see them take on a handful of cases as PI over having it all be a single story

I agree - have a (heck even 2) 3 or 4 parter, a few stand alone cases in the middle (they can do some LA/Hollywood stuff, maybe Archer's "breakdown" will be to get into porn - ), then a 2 or 3 parter to finish/setup next season. I do see them getting back into intelligence work.

Solid episode, but it was a bit, well, cartoonish.

And I hope they're not going to do to Archer this season what Arrested Development did to Michael in their final season.

I liked Vice but I have to admit to being letdown by that episode.

Nothing really stood out. No solid animated gif material. Nothing quotable.

What was the point of Ray in the wheelchair if he could walk?

Archer falling like Wile E. Coyote and Lana didn't seem to give a crap. I thought we ended last season with them being pretty tight.

I didn't hate the episode, but is was missing more than a little something something.

You really don't get that joke?

I agree. But there was a lot of set up required for the new setting/tone.

Best part of the episode, IMHO. Archer is indestructible. They're starting to get used to it. Archer added nothing to the mission (and that was the joke) and actually jeopardized it by coming back up the hill.

Ray being in a wheelchair is a running gag

And, this at least 3 times he's faked being paralyzed - more than he's actually been paralyzed now.

That is the most quotable gif I can think of for the episode - him standing up from the wheelchair, "Since we're hourly now."

I thought the best one was when Ray took off running with Lana like he was shot out of a gun and Archer says - "Man, you have to give cyborgs one thing, they sure do run good."

He'll probably go by the porn name "Rimshot".

Yeah - that was more than a little foreshadowing. However, I think he'll have to work the Randy/Rando thing in - maybe Randy Rimshot?

Definitely a set up episode. I imagine we will see the agency, run by Cyril, get into major trouble that requires Archer to bail them out in the usual fashion.

Oh God, tonight's episode was fantastic. One of the best in years.

Krieger was excellent.
