The second book and the second season did not end the same. Huge things happened in the end of the second book that did not happen in the show.

They really have done well with this show. The pilot was bad but they really turned it around.

Still watching it. I cringed when Zach got some screen time last night, but overall it was a pretty creepy episode. What happened after the nest bombing was a nice "oh, shite!" moment to lead into next week's episode. The kid bodyguard was funny and disturbing at the same time

Despite its faults, it's been a nice ride so far...

I'd just read that there will be a fourth and final season in '17. I guess shite gonna be crazy longer than I expected, since part of me thought it was gonna be wrapped up this season...

I was distracted during that, and it was too late for me to go back and watch. What happened? Did Fett fail or were there more munchers elsewhere?

Spoilers ahead:

There were more munchers, and I mean LOTS more. Apparently the strigoli higher-ups were wise to the bombing plan, and they unleashed all the munchers who weren't where Fet was. So basically, it's now a widespread onslaught of munchers, and the bombing was was just a blip on the radar....

They have so many people in their back pocket you wouldn't believe. The Night Eternal (3rd Book) goes into great detail about their control.

Maybe it's just me but I was expecting Zach to try to bang the feeler.

If you haven't seen tonight's episode, don't read any further.

I know Ferraro rubs people the wrong way, but I was bummed to see her go. Unlike some people of her stature in other TV shows, she was walking the walk. I was actually starting to warm up to her, lol...

The use of flashbacks are well done for this show, and tonight was no exception. Does a good job fleshing out the history in the storyline,

Nice to see Eichorst get ambushed, but I doubt we'll see the last of him...

Next episode is the season finale. Definitely pleased with how this season has played out so far...

Funny, but I loved how over-the-top it was. Some imaginative kills too, lol...

I gave up on it last week after realizing I don't care about any of the characters, what they're doing, or why they're doing it. The show grew to be awfully boring IMO.

Yeah I only cared about Gus, Angel and Fet living and even Fet is getting annoying. Tonight's ep was pretty good although not sure how Palmer didn't set up a better ambush for Eichorst.

I just chalked up up to Palmer (and everyone, really) grossly underestimating Eichorst's strength. Palmer hit him at point-blank range...which, you'd think would be enough IF you could ever successfully connect with a shot. A couple of episodes ago, he got his hand cut off by surprise, which may have been ultimately setting up the scene in last night's ep. For a brief moment, after the first shot, even I thought Palmer might succeed at taking him out.

My one gripe about the show is the sex scenes. Don't get me wrong, I love the actual act of sex and all (lol), but it's not like the strigoli crisis has been happening for so long that everyone's become desensitized to it. I mean, it's only been happening for like a month FFS, things have gotten far worse than better, and Dutch & HairPiece have a shite-ton of responsibility on their plate as well...I can't imagine anyone getting horny in that situation, never mind those two. Of course, that's Horror Cheese 101 for you

She deserved it.

He deserved it.

After finally watching Sunday's(10/23) episode last night that is how I feel about Ferraro and Angel. Don't get me wrong, I really like the strain. I like it so much I watch every episode at least twice. I didn't delete this episode and will watch it again right before watching the upcoming episode.

The one thing that really bothers me about this show (well besides having to watch Goodweather's weird and uncomfortable relationships) is people dying.

Yeah, imagine that people dying in a vampire show annoys me, crazy huh? !!! Well, it's not actually that they die, it's how STUPID they are to get to that point. Pretty much every "character" on this show has deserved their fate to be removed from the gene pool.

Fact: the strigoi cannot go into sunlight and only come out at night.

Annoyance: Pretty much every dumb son-a-bitch that has died or was turned in this show had it happen to them at night because they had to go out for something.

If Angel and Feraldo had to leave the city, why wouldn't they leave a few hours earlier? Wait to the next day? NO, they have to load up in vehicles and try to get through a horrendous traffic jam of people trying to leave the city at NIGHT !!!

I know the show would be boring as shite if people didn't die and to die they have to come off as complete idiots.

Thanks, I feel better now.

Oh, and I guess for the sake of time and the story they thought it had to happen, but for Goodweather and Dutch to apparently go to just one location and be able to catch a Feeler was a bit over the top. Was that feeler ostracized and sent away to an abandoned building for a reason other than to be a part of an unbelievable scene in the show?
