Anyone watch The Middle last night

The only TV mom more neurotic than Frankie was Malcolm's mom.

I can't remember the specific episode you are talking about, but that is generally the theme for me.

Most recent one I remember was her making him skip the Final 4 to attend her great aunts funeral. My wife looked at me and told me I would be going to the game.

The episode was fantastic and was a real life look at what happens when just about every son on the planet tells his mom he's going to the gf's house for a major holiday. As for the picture, we had this happen to our family multiple times before my brother finally got married. There was a stretch from '91-'97 where my mom wouldn't even try to hide it since he was bringing a different girl to just about every holiday back then. She would flat out say in front of the girls that they won't be in a picture in a photo album in her house unless it was a wedding photo.

Shes being a typical Mom whos losing her son to a girl, a girl she doesnt particularly like. I see both sides but the fact that he gets run by April so much because shes either as dumb as she appears or a genius manipulator is irritating. I mean shite, she has Axl tagging along to the babysitters Thanksgiving in Akron

This was one of the few episodes that really showed true emotion that will leave a mark.

The most amazing part of this show is how Sue Heck looks irl.
