Does she show the goods? I know the answer is no so I'm not going see this show.

No she doesn't show them. Some good cleavage shots though. Thought the movie was good. Definitely worth the matinee price

Spoilers, just because this is the only SA thread, screw the title.
SPOILER
SPOILERS
Summary of entire movie follows
So saw it last night. I like seeing cities destroyed, apocalyptic type stuff and the like. Unlike 2012 and Day before the world freezes over and we move to Mexico or whatever that pile of crap was. This was devoid of political agenda. In fact not on politician faux or real is ever shown, mentioned or alluded to.
It centers around Paul Giammatti (Pig Vomit to me) and his partner (the other bad guy from the good Wolverine movie) discovering a way to predict earthquakes from magnetic fields.
This leads to them hypothesizing that an earthquake will hit in southern Nevada, and then traveling there to confirm the hypothesis. This earthquake turns out to be much larger and jumps to a 7.1, destroying the Hoover Dam as we see in the previews. In making good for always being a bad guy in other films, the assistant does the ultimate sacrifice for a little girl.
This is the opening of the theme of the movie, but not the opening scene. The opening scene is of a girl whose car gets knocked off the road in a landslide, and the Rock does a really crazy move to get the helicopter in the canyon.
The rescue is a nail biter and the entire helicopter is in danger, but knowing it's the opening scene setting up the hero in a disaster flick, you just know it will turn out roses. We get that the rock is an expert pilot and has 600 soldier rescues.
We are introduced to his hot daughter Alexandra Daddario and her Milf mom, and her prickish Billionaire boyfriend, Reed Richards from the first Fantastic Four.
Daughter is going to San Fran, wife to dinner in LA. Rock to Las Vegas (never shown)for rescue ops.
As the Rock is flying his helicopter solo to get maintenance, an earthquake hits LA. He then decides to save his wife. As buildings in LA crumble, she climbs to the top for the most exciting rescue scene of the movie.
Falling buildings explosions, tidal waves from roof top pools, a very interesting scene. Anyway, she is saved, they decide to check on the daughter. Cut to daughter and step dad leaving his office tower in San Francisco after clearly bragging about how the new tower he is building will be the (tallest and STRONGEST) in the city.
Earthquake starts, a beam falls on the car trapping Alexandra, Reed Richards bails on her... He goes on to frick people over in the subsequent scenes before coming to a very rewarding death (shipping container from 200 feet) .
So Alexandra (Blake in the movie) calls the Rock, tells him she is stuck and all alone, and she needs help.
Rock then decides to fly right to her. Blake is saved, from the car she was trapped in by Rickon Stark and his older brother who previously talked to Blake for about two minutes but felt that was enough that they should search her out. These two are British siblings on Holiday in SF while their parents are on a cruise.
The plan is to contact the Rock (cell phone towers are all out now) and get out. Around the same time, Paul Giammanti at Cal Tech hacks the News networks and lets California know that a 9.5 is coming and that what happened so far was nothing.
In subsequent scenes we see the ground ripple, more buildings fall, and lots of looting. The rock looting a looter after crashing the copter in Bakersfield. Then taking a Jump plane to SF to jump out onto ATT park, then save twenty people, then take a boat, because the streets of SF after the 9.5 are impassable.
The Rock takes the semi inflatable boat to look for Blake, but Tsunami sirens in the area let everyone know that it's going to get worse. What comes next is the most unbelievable scene of the movie. The hundreds of boats all trying to leave the bay before the wave crests. The rock goes faster than everyone else and appears to be the only one successful, even after narrowly avoiding a large container ship. (The ship that will take out the Golden Gate bridge and kill the now hated Reed Richards).
Heading back to the partially submerged city, they happen upon the building that the kids took refuge in. The "strongest building in the city". (though it appeared to take much much more damage than many others)
Water levels rise and Rickon and his older brother get separated from Blake. Blake is trapped in an office and the Rock is failing to save her. (he previously lost another daughter in a flashback scene on a rafting trip, he could save her from drowning) Blake, wanting her dad to save himself, decides to inhale the water and give up, at that Point, The Rock summons all of the superhero, action movie strength he has, and breaks down the door to the office and saves his daughter. Then spends the next few minutes doing CPR. After he nearly gives up , she wakes up.
We cut to a Fema survior camp, and the Entire pacific fleet beginning rescue ops, signs for the missing are shown. No more mention of anything but SF, I guess LA and LV are better off, but we don't know. Only that they will rebuild.
TL; DR
So in short, no the SA does not fully go off and break the plate off from the continent.
Many people die, a lot of crap happens, and it's really not bad for an action flick.
It's no ID4, but it's light years ahead of 2012 and Day after the End of Tomorrow.

again for those wondering, i really enjoyed the movie.. as did the wife. Worth the money, the rock had turned into a very good action movie actor, and his screen daughter is FINEEEEEEE!

that's what I thought, it was a solid summer movie. I was entertained. For Summer movies I want flashy effects and lots of action. The cerebric and dialogue driven stories I can watch at home.

Saw it today. If you like action-packed disaster movies then you'll enjoy it. Script and acting aren't real good. The effects- CGI are outstanding. One thrill after another-which is why I enjoy this type movie.
