Or maybe the originals if you are old enough?

My granddad loved that show when I was a kid and I watched it a ton. I was surprised to learn when I was older how Redd Foxx's standup differed from the show.

Underrated TV comedy now IMO.

A lot of those classics are really underrated. Sanford and Son is one of the GOATs.

Grew up on Andy Griffith. Need to go back and watch some Sanford and son though. The episodes I have seen were great

Watched the last 2 season originals in 76-77. Re-runs for the next decade. Still watch reruns every so often.

Loved Sanford and Son. The "black" All in the Family, and was better IMHO.

I met Redd Foxx in Vegas a couple years before his death. My first wife and I were on our honeymoon and went to one of his stand up comedy shows. Anyway he cracked on us about being on our honeymoon, telling me how I should please her and such lol. After the show the guard come got us and he invited us to come have drinks with him and his lady (Asian ) at a private bar. We did and I can tell you he was great. It's something I'll never forget
