Never unfertsood Talking Heads. Hated their entire weird semi-euro, but not vibe. It's was the epitome of shite mainstream 80s music... And I even like a couple of their songs.

Their entire vibe act ust infuriated me. That gif is the absolute perfect example. Same shite feel that the Sledgehammer video had, except all in one act that wasn't over after a 4 min song.

I will strongly pass...

i didn't even know who the Talking Heads were until yesterday.

only song that was familiar to me was "Burning Down the House". but i never knew who it was that sang it. only heard it on the radio and the movies during random moments.

Friend,

Cousin drove me to the live showing on Sept. 11. He wanted to be part of the Q&A with the band so we went to Florida and stayed at Uncle’s beach condo afterward. It was on IMAX and incredibly loud. I knew none of the songs except the one from Wall Street about Home….

The audience was a lot of fun. It was half filled, but people were singing loud, even standing at the end. Like Never Say Never the experience was great. But the movie was really terrible, and the songs weird and unfamiliar. I suppose if I had been a fan of the band it would have been good. The Q&A was a waste of time — they did not take Cousin’s questions.

Yours,

Dude, watch this film and you'll strongly re-consider.

As for the OP, I would LOVE to see this on IMAX. Guess I need to find the closest location to me not in NOLA.

ETA: I can't believe it's been 40 years.

I saw the tour and it was amazing. Saw the movie at the Prytania on acid and flipped out.
