Anybody Ever Shot Closeups With A Wide Lens

I'm thinking about renting a Zeiss 25mm Prime to film some stuff. I figure I can get good landscape shots plus have a very unique look for Closeups if I want. I'm just wondering if you have to get right in someone's face with an f/2 or 2.4.

Change your aperture if you can't get that close. F/5.6

That's what you get for killing Lee Harvey Oswald before he could stand trial.

You need a macro lens if you want to do awesome close ups. My f2.8-4 24-85mm macro does great closeups, but you do have to get right up in the person's face.
