Heard they made 32 cuts before the film was allowed to be shown due to it being too gory or sickening!

I thought I had heard or read that it was going to be more of a dark comedy/grindhouse this time around rather than a shock horror.
The trailer certainly looks very grindhouse bad. And will be added to my collection.

Nah, the first one was actually not bad. The second one though... never watch it. Seriously, ever. It's legit one of the worst movies I've ever seen, even if viewed as a comedy.

Sometimes I like to watch fricked up/mindfrick movies. And sometimes they're actually pretty good, as long as the subject matter doesn't bother you (which it rarely does to me).

I just find over the top/grindhouse/dark comedies (Hobo with a Shotgun, the Machete movies, Planet Terror, etc) funnier than traditional comedies.

I've seen the second one. As someone who usually enjoys these gross out type of movies, I have to agree it was one of the worst movies I've ever seen. Just poor filmmaking in every aspect.

I've read about them but never actually seen these movies. It grosses me out but I feel like it's a train wreck or something that when you drive by you have to stare at the carnage.. I just haven't had the hypothetical drive by yet.
