Any thoughts on Godzilla Resurgence?

Godzilla 2000 is still the best Godzilla design, I dont know why they cant just go back to that. Fave Godzilla movie ever, and fricking badass compared to that Roland Emmerich abomination.

I remember the movie when it was coming out but never got around to it.

I enjoyed a lot of the Milenium Godzilla movies, but I wouldn't put "2000" at the top of the heap. "Final Wars" was fun as hell because of how ridiculous it was and all the genres involved. But I think my favorite from that series was "Giant Monsters All-Out Attack."

Final Wars is the most fun to me due to its over the top nature, all the monsters, the martial arts, alien villain, etc. Hard to pick a favorite.

All I know is Hideaki Anno is involved, and it's supposedly the reason I'm still waiting on the final Evangelion Redux movie.

That doesn't look much better than the old Godzilla movies but I will watch because Godzilla rocks.

That's a good thing. Godzilla should always be a man in a suit rather than CGI bullshite, if you ask me.
