Anytime. I've got a good bit of shows in my queue on Crunchyroll.

The biggest issue I've been having lately is that so many of the shows rely on fanservice (the thing in Freezing where they try to show tits as often as possible) and it takes away from some good shows.

I've done my best to find the ones that don't lay it on so damn thick.

I'm currently on the last season of Yu Yu Hakusho (?)

I somehow remembered catching season 2 on toonami back in the day and wanted to watch the whole thing. The things I remember when I get drunk

Damn. That is a long arse show too. Is it as good as you remember?

I'm watching Naruto Shippuden from the beginning. Currently on episode 26 or 27. Only 500 more to go.

Hey Scruffster

What would you advise that has a similar look to AoT or SAO. Beyond story line similarities. I realize they are a little different, but I mean not bad computer graphics like say Knights of Sidonia and not the cartoonish style of Gurren Laggen(or worse).

And not Full Metal Alchemist.

And it's definitely as good as I remember. The dark tournament effing rules, Toguro is a sympathetic villain in my eyes

Hmmm...

Try some of these:

Akame ga Kill
Strike the Blood
Blade and Soul
No Game No Life

Going by animation rather than genre is a bit tougher for me.

I also would recommend Hellsing: Ultimate if you liked the fast paced, bloodiness of Attack on Titan. It isn't on Crunchyroll and is ten 1 hour long episodes. English dubs are a must for that one. You'll have to stream them on some illicit site.

I have got to stop binge watching everything, but once you get hooked in you can't stop. Started SAO II last night around 6, as of 10 a.m. this morning I am on episode 19 and will finish it tonight. This is the fourth or fifth full length season of a show I have finished in 2 weeks.

All it does it make the next season of each show seem that much farther away

Why do you say this?

I watched with subs and wouldn't go the other way. I prefer original languages in almost everything though.

I'm going to be shunned here I'm sure but I don't get the obsession with Attack on Titan

Attack on Titan

It is just very well done. Like all things Japanese it seems like the characters don't communicate well, but outside of that hampering the plot I am not sure why you wouldn't like it. Interesting plot and world, fantastic animation, and characters you want to watch(though the main protagonist can be hard to enjoy sometimes).

What specifically turns you off about the show?

I normally watch with subs for everything, but there are a few where the dubs surpass the subs.

Cowboy Bebop
Black Lagoon
Hellsing: Ultimate

Just to name a few.

The action scenes are really well done but the dialogue just bores me. Unless there's a titan eating someone or people are running along rooftops trying to fight them, it just doesn't grab my attention. I don't even find myself rooting for the main characters. I'm just kind of "meh" when I see one of them die.

Outside of the main three I understand this. There is no real character development other than theirs, and Erin Yeager's is not great. Part of that is because of the pace of the show. They were really rolling through the storyline from the manga.

There are some that are just so damn well done. If you haven't watched Black a Lagoon with dubs, I recommend it. It is lightyears better than the original voice actors. Revy, Dutch, and Balalaika's characters are much better in English.

Another one is FLCL. The voice actor for Haruko and the others are just very well done.

English voice actors are getting better.

I remember trying to watch FLCL back when it first aired on Adult Swim. Didn't really grab me then, but I probably didn't give it a great chance.

Cowboy Bebop is done well. I don't know if it's the voice actors or the person that directs them that is the reason, but there are also some that are just so fricking awful. Worst I've ever seen is Guin Saga, but the dub was all Netflix had when I watched it.

I may try Black Lagoon. I just don't have much time these days. When I get a chance to turn on crunchyroll I'll put on an episode or two of Fist of the North Star and shite, I've been trying to get through that for 2 years. I'm only on about episode 40.

I think overall Log Horizon is a better done series than SAO. The first half of season one carried SAO. The abrupt twist in the middle of season one kinda throws you off. That said I still really liked it. I have not watch season 2.

Log horizon seems to go more in depth about what life inside the game would be like and the interactions that take place. Understandably this is an option for them considering the circumstances and consequences of their being in the game is different than that of SAO.

yu yu hakusho is one of my favorites from that time/genre.

SAO set a crazy pace for itself. I am enjoying Log Horizon, already a third of the way through season 2.

I do wish SAO would have settled down and gone through life in the game more.

Season 2 is almost exactly like 1, they split storylines mid season.

I seriously have to slow down. Waiting on the last episode of Log Horizon S2 to become available to regular members on Crunchyroll. So I have watched 49 episodes since around Wednesday or Thursday.

Started Akame Ga Kill yesterday andddddd just finished it(sometimes insomnia is nice?). 24 eps in less than 18 hours. Painful show to watch. Hate shows like that. I wont post spoilers for those who havent seen it. Just....be prepared. The feels...

Now on to Ixion Saga DT, Yona of the Dawn, or Blade and Soul? Hmm...
