I recently read IT for the first time in anticipation of the new movie so I'm all about creepy clowns right now. We got to see Twisty again and we got a gang of killer clowns roaming the streets.
I'm excited for the rest of the season even though I know I'm going to be disappointedl by the ending.

I liked this episode. I didn't see it Trump bashing, I saw it as great snowflake melts. You got to remember you are seeing this through the eyes of three wack jobs, the lesbian, crazy Cheeto man, and the nanny (and maybe the kid).
BTW, the nanny, Winter, is Carrie Fisher's daughter. I didn't know that.
I like the story is set in modern times, like season 1.
I did notice that started drooling the F bomb. Is this the first time on AHS.

Episode 1 was much better than expected.
The show is correctly portraying liberals who were afraid of Trump. They are playing hard on liberal fears. Not what I expected but do like.
The clowns are pretty scary and I think that some sadistic sh!t is going to go down. Season might have potential.

What is the point of the political angle though?
I get that its about the hysteria, but is it trying to portray Trump supporters as cult worshiping violent psychos?

I wouldn't consider it a political angle. More of a modern day reference.
They are just playing on people's irrational fear.

Wartching now. The psychotic break she is having over trump being elected is both scary and sad. There are lots of ppl that feel just like her and it's gonna drive them all to do something very crazy. By the same token, you have cheeto face smearing, piss balloon throwing trump fan who becomes equally scary and sad bc he thinks trump has given him the right to go crazy. This should be interesting to see where this goes.

2/10.. Not sure if I'm going to watch this season... If I wanted to watch Trump get bashed I'd watch CNN and if I wanted to watch liberals be made fun of I'd watch FoxNews.
