I have Amazon Prime right now but find the majority of the content on it isn't worth watching. Once you get past their original programing (which is quite good) and a few above average TV series, I can't seem to find anything that's worth watching.

There are a bunch of people on here that have good things to say about Netflix...not so much for Hulu. Can those who have or had these services compare them?

Netflix original content is far superior to Amazon Prime

We have all 3, we use Prime the least for streaming purposes

Hulu is good for current shows, but commercials

I would keep Amazon Prime for the non-streaming benefits, so that's my starting point.

No question - I would go Netflix - right now - based on my history with them and their overall content - over Hulu, because of Hulu's ads. It was one thing when it was free, but when I paid for Hulu Plus and still got ads on some things - I started making plans to dump them. I'm almost there - perhaps September 1st.

I prefer Amazon because you can download your content to your device for offline viewing. I have all 3 services but rarely use Hulu.

We upgraded to the limited ads option on Hulu and i haven't seen an ad since on it. But they have a pretty limited selection unless you watch a lot of network shows

I use Amazon Prime and Netflix...

I watch a lot more movies on Amazon Prime than I do on Netflix but more Television shows on Netflix than Prime.

Thanks to everyone who posted.
I will keep Prime because I buy a lot of stuff off amazon and the free 2 day shipping justifies the $100.00 a year.

I dropped cable and went with Sling TV and I'm saving $60.00 a month (it wasn't the money as much as hating to deal with Cox). I'm going to try Netflix for a few months and see if I use it.

Thanks again for the opinions.

Amazon Prime membership pays for itself, so it shouldn't be a choice. Netflix is easily worth the $10 a month.

Nice. They used to only allowed this for the Kindle tablets, but I see that it is now available on almost all platforms!

For what they cost, I couldn't see not keeping both Prime and Netflix.

We discontinue Hulu during the Summer...turn it back on when the majority of top shows start their Fall season.

Prime is decent but I wouldn't tell anyone to buy it unless its worth it for everything-- If you travel a ton its great- you can take videos with you on a mobile device to watch on a plane for no extra charge; additionally Prime Music is an improving free service that seriously cuts down on music purchases, finally the shipping is awesome when you're in an area where it applies.

is the prime, netflix, hulu combination on par with going the firestick + kodi route?

I am trying to cut the cable and I don't want to lose my ability to record saints and tigers games. So I am thinking of going with the tivo bolt and having prime, netflix, hulu, and maybe the HBO go monthly deal.

I have all 3.

Prime is kept no matter what due to regular amazon pruchases. They also act as my "on demand" service to rent movies, then there are random shows that are good.

Netflix has good original content, but it never has movies and stuff that I want to watch. If I think of a title, Netflix is like a 30% chance to have it.

Hulu gets used the most in our house and it isn't close. We pay for no commercials. We get current TV shows the next day. No other service does that. And since we don't have cable, it's awesome. Plus old shows and stuff are on there that I watch a lot of. But I'll admit, it would sucked without having all 3

I don't know much about that. I just got the Fire TV box but you still have to have subscriptions to get the content (that's what I understand). I read a little about the Kodi download but haven't done it.
