Recap from last Monday, 1-2 PM

quote:

President Taylor is faced with an angry cabinet after an unpopular decision results in the loss of many American lives in a terrorist attack.

Jack and Tony convince Prime Minister Matobo to go along with their plan when their undercover mission is revealed in a showdown with Emerson.

Meanwhile, Henry is stuck in an unthinkable situation, paralyzed and unable to help Samantha Roth when she returns home to find Agent Gedge in her apartment.

They need to give Jack more face time/more involved with the story and give us less of the side story about the presidents husband and whatever scandal he is trying to uncover even if it does involve his own son...who cares

agreed. Also they need to wrap up this dubaku thing with the CIP device and get on to a new crisis. Jack has been more of a supporting character to the female fbi agent and he needs to get back in the lead role cracking skulls.

Not entertaining tonight, but more of a "set up" episode, IMO. You can't have EVERY episode just be jam packed with excitement. It's not possible.

only 6 hours into it before:

-Director (insert name here)'s ability to manage (insert government agency) effectively is called into question by subordinate(s)

-"open me a socket" is used

not bad, usually, we're into the 2nd hour before we cross these worn out subplots

couple thoughts - FBI IT dept is about as annoying as anything I've seen. Garafalo and Billy Walsh make an awful pair on screen. Kim Bauer as a CTU compute geek gave a more compelling performance - and she was awful

& who in the frick lives in an apartment where the front door is 60% frosted glass?????

also, my unhealthy obsession with Agent Walker continues

Let's hope so...IMO, this season has been just as bad as last season so far. I think President Taylor maybe a worse actor than Wayne Palmer, and her chief of staff (shawshank guy) sucks way worse than Tom Lennox. Throw in Jeanine Garrofolo (sp?) and you have some major suckage so far this season. I'm pretty disappointed right now...I might start watching the season 5 DVDs over again to make up for all of this crap so far. This season better turn around in freaking hurry!

Tom Lennox was one of the better characters the show ever had.

im pretty sure that there was an entire segment between one set of commercials, where jack wasnt even on screen at all.

How do you let that happen in a show about a guy whose job is to bring the pain?
