Good deal. I know very little about anything other than the major characters and their basic plot lines.

If you type in "Franklin Hall" into Wikipedia (the character's name), the villain "Graviton" (a Thunderbolts villain) comes up...with almost the same origin story as depicted in the show.

Also, the character "Valentina de la Fountaine" could have been the basis for "Camilla Reyes"

I was kind of hoping that gif would have been posted by now

I thought this episode was much better than last week's, but I agree with some of the other posters: I wish they would have some more veteran members on the show to mix with the younger team.

Best episode thus far. I like that they are going ahead and adding people with powers early in the series instead of just relying on normal people with advanced-tech-of-the-week to be the villains.

One of the strange things I liked most about this episode was, strangely enough, the casting of the trucker. He LOOKED so much the part of a trucker that you didn't know he was a SHIELD agent until the shite hit the fan. I want to see more of that sort of casting.

I liked that the agent-guy's story opened up a little bit, but he still comes across as wooden/robotic/one-dimensional.

Yeah, the show is developing quite nicely. I enjoyed the episode. It basically served as an origin story for a secondary villain in the MCU. The only thing that gets on my nerves from time to time with all comic book based heroes and villains, it's like every one of them is either some ridiculous billionaire or some ridiculously genius scientist. That's not a knock on this show in particular.

Don't some of these people have more humble origins?

Yeah. He does. But he was kind of created for this show, so it's a more modern character. If they stick to the origin stories for all these characters created in the 50s 60s and 70s, they're all going to have all these fantastic qualities.

I believe so. At least they use to. If not, you can always check on other sites and not have to sit through ads.
