Blunt's character was the most important

Isn't she supposed to "represent" the American people, in that how little they really know about what it takes to get the job done?

she was driven, tough, idealistic and ethical.

All she wanted to do was help

In the end she realized she made no difference, she was used, and the "problem" is soooo far beyond/over her head. She's broken, disheartened, and she's lost her innocence.

The people that hated her or were annoyed by her COMPLETELY missed the point of the film

I really like it.

Like the scene where she had the come to Jesus talk with her supervisor about half way through the movie. It's where she really starts to understand the depth of what's going on and where she fits in.

When her boss tells her these decisions are made by people elected to office, not appointed to it? I thought they did a good job of mixing the politics in with the tactical front line. The score was great, and the cinematography even though the landscape wasn't all that appealing. BDT stole the show

I liked it, I thought ending was a bit much though, hard to believe.

In a country that literally beheads people and leave them in the streets or hanging from under bridges you found the last scene to be unbelievable?

Seems to me you just refuse to believe just how much of a shitshow that Mexico is.

SPOILERS

The guy killed Benicio's family. I find it totally believable that a guy from a Colombian cartel, whose family was murdered by a Mexican cartel, could kill the family of the person who did that.

holy shite, what a movie

Blunt looked just like one of my close friends from college, it was kinda freaky

The ending was realistic and I liked it, amazing movie.

Can't believe I didn't know about it before now
