Okay, he's a likeable enough guy, and he has some talent as a comic, I guess. But he is a horrible talk show host. He gushes like a fanboy. Plus the goofy little games he sometimes gets the guests to play are becoming tired, imo.

Maybe I'm just old fashioned, but I'd like to see him conduct a decent interview with a guest sometimes. You know, like maybe people really want to hear about what the guest has to say, etc.

I've never liked him doing interviews, it's so awkward to me. Seems forced.

He is one of the worst interviewers I've ever seen. On anything. He either usually ends up dominating the interview and somehow making it about him, or the interview becomes incoherent and all over the place.

I saw him and Bradley Cooper's ten minute laughing fest the other day and couldn't believe that he could not compose himself.

He's the late night host for people that don't like late night shows.

You couldn't believe that the guy who ended up laughing in just about every SNL skit he was in couldn't keep his composure?

Typical interview
Jimmy: Tell about that time you did that thing
Random Guest: So I was going to...

Exactly. He's perfect for people who have ADD, like cell phone games and social media way too much, or just plain aren't interested in anything important, like you know, people. It's like he likes the thought of liking culture or mass media without actually liking culture or mass media.

In short, he sucks. Been saying this all along.

Remember when you said Jimmy would fail as host of the Tonight Show? Good call there. He's dominating the ratings.

If you can't laugh at Jimmy and Bradley Cooper smashing eggs on their foreheads then there is something wrong with you,

Yeah I was wrong, but that doesn't change the fact that he's terrible. There's no depth to anything he does, and it's rarely funny.

I haven't seen the demographic data, but did he just flip the demos around? I still see no way that the older crowd who watch late night shows watch Fallon.

I think you are old fashioned. He's an entertainer more than a talk show host and I think he's transforming the format of the show. I like him.

I loved Leno.. Fallon is ok but I agree with y'all about him laughing too much in his interviews... & most of the time it even seems like fake laughing like he's trying to make the celebrity comfortable & feel like they're being funny. I think he does do a funny monologue though. I don't like the roots lead singer. His little games are stupid & getting stupider, agreed there too.

Same, I like Fallon a lot, him and Ferguson are the only ones I ever watch on occasion.

Ferguson is my favorite for interviews, with hot women, he's hilarious.

Everyone had a right to a opinion. No opinion is right or wrong. With that said, Fallon to me is terrific on the Tonight Show.

This. Today's demo (18-35) wants stuff that is going to go viral. Those games and stuff with the guests is share-able at the office for a quick laugh.

The times, they are a-changin'.

ETA: I should mention that I watch Fallon and I never watched Leno or Letterman. I usually tuned into Kimmel every now and then.

They watch Letterman and they MIGHT watch Colbert, if he plays his cards right.
