Just saw this on my flight back to houston...gotta say, Oscar Isaac's performance really reminded me of Pacino in the latter half of Godfather 1. I thought the movie itself was pretty good, but the standout was Isaac for sure.

That is where I was at with it. I didn't hate but it was different than what I was expecting, maybe.

Having said that, between this and ex machina I am all board the Issac train. Dude is awesome

Oscar Isaac was great. The movie was disappointing overall though.

Oscar Isaac was terrific in Finding Llewyn Davis. Any other year and he would have been a shoe-in for an Oscar nomination. It's one of the few contemporary movies that is basically an exploration of character. I loved it. Fantastic soundtrack, too.

Amazing film. Ridiculous that it didn't get any nominations.

Just watched this the other day. I really enjoyed it. Title fairly misleading if you don't understand what it is alluding to, luckily I read a review beforehand that cleared it up. Oscar Isaac was outstanding, and he's made my list of actors who if they're in a movie, I'll check it out.

I was really disappointed in this movie TBH. Had high hopes.

Meh. That's what he (and the director) were going for, but there wasn't much resemblance IMO. Not close.

A very good movie. Complex characters and interesting family dynamics. I think there may not been enough "action" for some viewers, but that's there problem.

It wasn't a bad movie, but it wasn't particularly good either. It has nothing to do with action (or lack thereof).
