I've come to it late myself. I'm currently through episode 5 and it is a really enjoyable and high quality show. Matthew McConoughey turns in one of the best performances I've seen on any television production. And the writing and cinematography, even the costuming and makeup are up there too and add to the overall feel of the show.

As an indication of how well liked it is on the board, the episode 5 discussion thread is something like 92 pages long (though I think that about a dozen or so of those may have been made up of SFP doing his patented vague and non committal nit picking thing and people responding to it - so say a good 80 or so pages of legitimate commentary.)

Watch it and enjoy.

Just watched ep1 (HBOGo on PS3). Liked it. Will keep watching. Loved when he blew the money across the table to the guy interviewing him. Like, here, get my beer now.
