Excellent move IMO

My question is, what is the ideal set up to watch this flick? Dark, loud, alone, quiet, does not matter, etc? Do I need to have my translator from the book ready (have not read the book), or is the slang easy to pick up on?
Everyone has an opinion on it. Mine is garbage!

Thanks to Opie and Anthony, this movie and "The Shining" are both comedies to me now.
LoL
And when my wife tried to prevent me from doing my duty, I "corrrrrr-rected" her.

If that doesn't work, the hat removal service should do the trick.

Also a great point in the movie is when he keeps poking that woman with the porcelain schlong.

Saw this movie at an EARLY age and it still sticks in my mind. I can remember parts of the movie but not who my friends were at the time (army brat.)

About what I expected. Glad I watched, but I don't really have any strong feelings one way or the other. I thought it held up well for an older movie. I did really like the use of Beethoven, and the interesting look at social engineering by government.
Yeah it holds up well...and if someone walks in on youw atching it in middle of the movie they will look at you with the "WTF" is this look.
I find it gets better with more viewings as well

Me too, had no idea what I was watching. Really disturbing stuff for a little kid. Pretty sure that's why the movie's always stuck with me.

I think I saw it first when I was 15,16, or 17 I can't remember exactly. But I haven't watched it since which is to say it's not my favorite Kubrick movie by a longshot.

"That's a very important work of art."
