last year i started watching from season one so that i could get caught up before season seven. i still have all of season six to watch, and the 2 hour "redemption" thing. can anyone tell me whats up with that movie? was it in between season 6 and 7 or something else? (should i watch it before i watch season 7?)

Redemption is the precursor to season 7 and you should definitely watch it... Redemption sets the stage for this season and you;ll really enjoy it.

It was in between 6 and 7. I think 7 will be a little easier to understand if you watch Redemption, but I wouldn't say it's necessary. You can probably understand 7 OK, it will just take a little more "paying attention". It is VERY entertaining, though.

Yea...I am pumped. Had to start watching Lost in the absence of 24 this past year. But now I really like both.

I made an attempt to watch 24 a few years back and found it be the most preposterous and absurd show in the history of TV. The show is basically one man running around in designer clothes while talking on a cell phone and torturing various people on occasion.
I really made a concerted effort to enjoy the show but after one season I was done because of the stupidity and implausibility of it all.
By the way, the season I watch a bomb is detonated in the greater Los Angeles area if that helps to establish what season I watched.
