This board is going to explode when Leo loses to Fassbender for Best Actor.
Posted on 1/14/16 at 8:13 am to GetCocky11
There's already a shitstorm online about no blacks being nominated.

Fassbender is better in every way, so, he deserves it.
Leo reeks of desperation.

and THIS is why the general public does not give a lukewarm shite about the Oscars

Were there even any leading black actor/actress roles this year of note?

why?

John Boyega maybe? One of the Straight Outta Compton guys perhaps. The sjw crowd just needs something to complain about. Chris Rock hosting the show doesn't help.

you mean when he loses to Eddie Redmayne, who will no doubt win it, portraying a transgender. It's still hip right now, so it's still cool for him to win.

It may be hip, but The Danish Girl apparently was a pretty "meh" movie. I don't see it happening, even with the SJW boost.

I don't see Leo winning for the revenant. He did a fantastic job but it's just not an Oscar winning role IMO.
Posted on 1/14/16 at 8:35 am to GetCocky11
I really want George Miller to win Best Director.
Posted on 1/14/16 at 8:37 am to vgmusic16
anyone seen "Room"? thoughts?

This better not happen. Leo pulled off his incredible role in actual freezing weather, water, etc. That's ridiculously hard to do. Most of these actors now never leave a stage.

You can also say Leo didn't have to act cold, tired, and hungry because he actually was cold, tired, and hungry.
