I have it on 4K and had the new sound system on. Totally forgot how LOUD the shoot out scene is. fricking incredible movie.

The shooting scene was the best thing I ever saw in a movie as a kid at that time besides tits!

I'm pretty sure Michael Mann went up to Al Pacino the first day of shooting and said "Al, I want you to be the most Al Pacino you've ever been"

Heat is awesome. The shootout scene is the first thing I put on any time I've gotten or upgraded a surround sound system. It's the GOAT scene for that IMO.

Heat's main problem is that it's probably about 30+ minutes too long. But that's more of just a gripe than anything else. But a movie like that doesn't need to be just shy of three hours.
