I think the most under appreciated one is TO playing in the Super Bowl 6 weeks after fracturing his fibula.

Dammit beat me to it with Emmitt 1994, I see that and raise you Jack Youngblood 1979 NFL Playoffs on broken fibula and Walter Payton’s 275 yard rushing day with 100+ degree fever and I think the conditions at Soldier Field that day weren’t ideal either

I remember watching Byron throwing strikes down the field and his OLine carrying him down the field. Simply awesome. I was a BL fan after that.

This wasn't a physical injury, but Favre playing on MNF after his Dad passed away. He was unstoppable that night.
