choose your team to go to with the best situation? I know it is cool to say you were drafted, but it also helps to look at depth chart and he where you have the best chance IF a team likes you and wants to sign you as an underrated FA. What is the board's thoughts?

Drafted. Because no one can ever take that away from you.

To me, it's more a feather in your cap to make the team as an UDFA than a 7th rounder.

UDFA. You get a choice of your destination and finding a place with a best fit or a place where you can get playing time is important.

If I'm an OLineman, I'm not going to Dallas.
If I'm a WR, I rather go to New Orleans than St. Louis

etc

Drafted, in a close roster battle the team will go with the draft choice.

Free Agent, more freedom to find the best fit, in some cases might get paid more than a 7th rounder

No, not at all. Some teams won't keep more than one or two drafted players anyway and some teams rather undrafted free agents. Teams tend to have more leverage with those contracts.

No, teams tend to keep their draft picks. 90% of those drafted make the team. If they cut them they still have to pay their draft slot number.

Drafted always except I'd rather be an UDFA than Mr. Irrelevant.
These old guys make what is your dream come true, something you've worked your life for seem like a joke or circus act. I don't want to be associated with your club you old fart.

I think teams are going to take the guy they drafted if it's a toss up. It makes them feel better about their draft.

UFA. If I were to go bust, I'd rather not be a well-known name and wind up being on TV and every other media source even years after it happens.

Plus is will cost you twice as much, if you cut a player that you drafted that season, you have to send his base salary to the NFLPA.

Wut? Thhe OP is a choice between a 7th rounder and an UFA. A 7th rounder isnt well known and can't be a bust.

Drafted. Better likelihood of making the roster, and believe me I suck so I need all the help I can get.
