Klay is 5 years younger and the Warriors look like a dynasty. There is no way Golden State would make that trade.

While I really like Thompson, I think they would destroy every team in the league with the rest of their roster and James and Green playing the two front court positions.

The status quo though is going to compete for a championship again next season though. They will lose Barnes though this season.

They just won 73 games.

Klay is a better fit with Curry and Green.

I mean on the current team they could run out a lineup of Curry, James, Iggy, Barnes, and Green. How would you defend it and how would you score on it? The Warriors are already an all-time great, but James is a better defender than Thompson. He also showed in Miami his ability to adjust his game to the surrounding personnel.

That being said the team is already stupid good and the younger player is the better choice is this rare situation.

Would be dumb for the Warriors. Lebron is way past his prime and Thompson is in the middle of his.

What? Bosh and Wade had to adjust their game to Lebron, not the other way around.
